ESPN WRUF 98.1 FM Radio 850 AM Radio is Gainesville’s first local radio station and one of the oldest in Florida. ESPN Radio 850 AM – 98.1 FM broadcasts to 14 counties daily with SEVEN hours of locally presented sports talk shows featuring Steve Russell, Larry Vettel, Jeff Cordozo, Adam Schick and some of the best sports students in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. The station also features Gator sports and ESPN Radio. ESPN Radio 850 went on the air in 1928 and celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2018.
